Just takin' it easy...

I've been humming this song for a couple of days now, I figured I would post it. It's only got 435 million views so, I'm not the only one humming this old song. It's just a good song. I'm having a good day so far. I've taken my meds, I've eaten, and I've done my podcast, so, my day is just about over. I don't do too much anyway. This whole COVID-19 thing has really put a wrench in a lot of people's schedules, mine hasn't changed much. Post, post, Netflix, YouTube and chill. I just don't get to leave the house the three precious times a week that I was leaving it for church. I'm staying at home those extra 6-7 hours a week. It doesn't seem like much, but when you spend ALL of your time at home just getting out is precious. Don't get me wrong, if I was never at home I would still go to and want to go to church three times a week. I just don't happen to leave my house that much. No matter what I feel blessed that we are able to have a livestream from the sanctuary every Sunday. If we weren't doing that THEN things would start to feel weird. I'm just being honest. But, I've had this conversation with more than one person and I know that the church is not a building. Its a body of believers and no matter what we still have our body of believers. A good quote I found also is "The Lord didn't call us to go to church, He called us to be the church." I love that. It gives me strength during these trying times. I'm definitely finding strength in preachers online. Torch of Christ ministries, Cleveland Street Preachers, Dorre Love, and a couple more I can't remember right off of the top of my head but these are the ones I watch regularly. Trumpet of Truth is another one. These are most of the channels I watch on YouTube. I find them very filling spiritually. ...All I can say is I hope you are having a good day. I am. I got to speak to my pastor on the phone and didn't realize how much I needed it until we started talking. I've had a blessed day. Thanks for stopping by. May the Lord bless you.
